CHUCK STOREY

Chuck is a graphic artist born in Oakland County who currently works for Oakland Community College as an Adjunct Professor, a Tutor and also a Specialized Tutor for Handicapped and Disabled students. He started his professional life as a Designer in the Horticulture business and after many years of exposure to pesticides was forced to leave due to allergies with pesticides used on plants and flowers from foreign countries such as Equador, Mexico and the Netherlands.

Chuck has a tremendous performing background, having performed in over 270 productions of Theatre, Musicals, Concerts and Public Performances. Chuck has studied music for over 20 years having had the experience of 4 different vocal coaches over that time frame. There expertise has been a great souce of inspiration over that time and today. Training includes Classical, Broadway, Contemporary and Country.

Aside from performing, Chuck has many backstage credits, including serving twice as President of a local Theatre Troupe, doing such things as Publicity and Promotion, Programs, Presentations, Directing, Producing, Set Design, Special Effects, Costumes, Make-Up and being the Chairman for over 40 shows as a Scenery Painter.

Yet with all his experiences, Chuck remains a somewhat humble character, a bit shy and withdrawn. Seeking out good friends and chatting online with his friends. On a recent trip to Key West, one of his long time dreams to visit, Chuck won a trip from a lucky raffle, back to stay at a luxury resort for a week in Key West 2009!

In 2012, Chuck had his first major concert singing at Orchard Lake Community Church
for the Eric Matthews Scholarship Fund.
